It all just goes on your mental ‘to do’ list, left until later.
Of course that means the weight of that list is huge. Even just thinking about brings up anxiety and worry and you quickly shy away from it, getting stuck back into distraction. That might be TV, Facebook, or even working hard – just not on the right thing.
Prioritizing the most useful thing to do becomes next to impossible due to the volume of the things to do on your mental list. You end up feeling stuck.
