I just can’t help it I keep getting it wrong!

This is so common when we are anxious. If we worry, stress, rerun conversations, lie awake at night struggling to fall asleep, find that we can never relax, or that quiet times are the hardest, then it's also likely that we might keep making mistakes and that no matter how hard we try we always seem to be in trouble or doing things wrong. We might have the best of intentions and keep trying to help other people, or to make a positive difference, but somehow it all keeps going wrong. Very often when we are anxious, we can end up trying too hard, or not seeing the real potential for there to be a problem in what we’re doing, because we're in such a hurry and working with such…

For most people we can’t simply distract into our usual way of being over busy and always doing stuff. However, for everyone who has noticed that, there are several others who are simply having to struggle a bit harder through the week. The amount of people who are feeling they have no time, that everything is a rush from one thing to the next with no pause for breath, and who are taking longer to get things done is staggering. Few people…

Stop waiting for permission. Ever noticed how it's the people who've never succeeded that tell us what to do? The people who never started a business tell us how we'll fail, how hard it is, to be realistic and give up? People who never faced anxiety or depression tell us to “get over it” as if they understood it? But they don't tell us how to get over it. Ask someone who did something, who tried and succeeded with their challenges and you'll hear how it works, how you can do it, how it may be a lot of work but do-able. To go for it! If you want success, spend time with the successful. If you want to change, talk to those who have changed. If you want to…
