“Nothing is easier than self-deceit. For what each man wishes, that he also believes to be true”.
Demosthenes (about 2300 years ago).

In essence we believe our wishes about ourselves. We deceive ourselves by what we would like to think about ourselves.

‘I’ll be happy when I get…’, ‘It’s not my fault…’, ‘If it was for me it wouldn’t have gone by me…’, ‘I’m not afraid, it’s just not the right time to change…’ the list is endless.

We can live for decades in self deceit. Notice your feelings and if they are holding you back, admit it to yourself.

If you are hesitating because of fear, notice it and decide to search for ways to overcome the fear. If you are concerned about what other people will think, then that worry is what you need to address first. Whatever is stopping you, notice it, admit it, and start to find a plan to solve it. Be honest with yourself and you will succeed much more easily. If you don’t know how, ask for help. Make a commitment to you today!

Change is easier than you think.
