Therapy Rates 

How many sessions will I need?
That varies according to what you are attending for. After an initial free consultation I will be able to give you an estimate of how many  sessions you will likely need. Since all people and their difficulties are individual, the number of sessions varies from person to person. Some usual ranges would be –


Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

7-10 sessions on average.
You should expect significant improvement as the sessions progress. The fee per session is €100 for this range of sessions.



If related to specific events, then treated as PTSD, above. If  ‘free-floating’ – where you feel anxiety and don’t know why – then Anxiety Reduction of about 10-20 sessions would be expected for a long term anxiety issue. For this length of therapy the fee per session is €100.


Fears and Phobias

Where you’re having a strong reaction to a particular stimulus (such as public speaking, spiders, etc.) – usually  2-4 sessions.  The fee per session is €150.


Reduced rates available on request for unwaged clients.

Once I’ve had an introductory consultation with you and understand your difficulties as well as what you wish to achieve, I will give you an estimate of the number of sessions before you start into therapy.

His personal experience of depression and anxiety, including too many nights waking in panic and fear and failing to get back to sleep gave John both the insight and motivation to help others who experience similar.
